I work as a freelance developer under direct contract or through my company, Libretech Ltd. My primary experience is with Unix and gnu/Linux based systems, and in advising on the selection, use and customisation of free and open source software.

Current
Employed as a shambrarian by the Library in Royal Holloway, University of London. I am working on 2nd-generation front ends for library catalogues and federated search systems. I have presented some of this work at an EPUG conference and written about it in Ariadne.
Current - 1
Developed a federated access management system based on Shibboleth and Fedora
Directory Server for the Flame Project at the LSE.
Current - 2
Working for the National Remodelling Team and TDA. Developed a web-based data input and analysis system for change management in schools accessed by Local Authorities across the UK. The system was maintained and developed over a period of years in response to rapidly changing programme requirements.
